BSE Job 1719
This station is integrated into a gun assembly conveyor line and utilizes two of the lifts and locate assemblies. The station tests two guns within the cell. The gun pallet is lifted to a determined height where the outlet nozzle will be engaged to secure the gun in the fixture. This action also seals outlet for fluid collection. As soon as the gun is secured, the inlet nozzle is engaged with a FasTest coupling while tooling engages the trigger lock mechanism. The trigger is cycled from overhead with a pneumatic actuator. The station is designed to accommodate (3) stations for possible future expansion, though this proposal includes two stations for in-line stand alone cell. Each guns total cycle is expected to take up to 34 seconds to produce two tested guns every 34 seconds.
